Earlville, NY (WIBX) - Michael Kicinski is announcing that he will remain in the race for the 22nd Congressional District seat currently held by Rep. Richard Hanna.

Despite losing to Hanna in the Republican primary earlier this summer, Kicinski said in a written statement from his campaign that his supporters have encouraged him to continue as a write-in candidate.

Kicinski has been relatively quiet on the campaign front so far.  The father of twelve (seven boys and five girls) includes fiscal responsibility, life, marriage, and reducing the size of big government on his list of primary campaign issues.  He has been married to his wife, Cathy for more than twenty-three years.  He had previously supported Congressman Hanna.

In addition to Hanna, the Tea Party conservative  will also be running against Democrat Dan Lamb.

Michael Kicinski will be a guest on WIBX's "First Look" tomorrow.
