Local Leaders Represent Central New York Tribal Interests At State Economic Summit

Indian Nations and Tribes around New York will be meeting in Albany today.  The purpose of the forum is to strengthen partnerships and promote local investment.

County Executive Anthony Picente, Oneida Nation Representative Ray Halbritter, and Central and Northern New York Building and Construction Trades Council's Pat Costello will represent the local area.

Today's meeting of the Senate Committee of State-Native American Relations, chaired by State Senator George Maziarz, gets underway in Albany at 10:00am.
