Madison Man Arrested On DWI, Other Charges

A Madison man is facing a DWI charge following a traffic stop in the Chenango County town of Sherburne.

Officials with the Chenango County Sheriff's Office say 36 year-old Anthony Carroll was driving through the town when he was stopped for failing to dim his headlights.

During the stop, deputies learned Carroll had allegedly been driving on a suspended licence and was drunk.

Carroll is charged with DWI, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Vehicle and Failure to Dim Headlights.
