Man Sentenced for Sexually Abusing Girls

According to court records, a Binghamton man will be serving 30 years to life in prison for sexually abusing three girls.

51 year old James Starnes was sentenced Friday, May 5.

Prosecutors had said Starnes was accused of sexually abusing the 9, 12 and 14 year old girls over several years beginning in 2013.

Starnes was convicted in March of felony predatory sexual assault, criminal sexual assault, rape, sexual abuse and course of sexual conduct against a child.
