Utica Councilman Joe Marino is calling for a full forensic audit of the last five fiscal years of the City's Capital Improvement Trust Account.

Marino says the Council has repeatedly received multiple sets of information regarding the account from the administration.

He says the Council has no other choice but to have the account information verified by an outside agency.

During the recent budget negotiations, a $7000,000 discrepancy was discovered in the CIT account.

Marino is chairman of the Council's Finance Committee.
