Utica Councilman Claims City Made A Huge Financial Error
Utica Councilman Joe Marino over the weekend Tweeted out that the city made a $700,000 mistake in their numbers and is trying to pass it off as pension costs and make the taxpayer foot the bill.
Marino claims that the city should hav to foot the bill, not the taxpayers. Obviously, the city receives revenue through tax dollars so it's not yet known how Marino expects the municipality to make up for the $700,000 difference.
Later in the weekend, Marino told another media outlet that the mayor's budget during an election year is much different than a year that he isn't running. He claims the mayor is playing politics with the budget.
Marino is on Keeler Monday morning at 7:35.
