You'll see some increased flight activity in the skies over Griffiss International Airport in Rome next week.

The U.S. Air Force will be conducting training flights with its C-17 cargo planes next Monday through Thursday.

The transport aircraft training flights will take place the following days and times:

•  Monday, March 13 from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and from 9:45 p.m. to 11:15 p.m.

•  Tuesday, March 14 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

•  Wednesday, March 15 from 7:45 p.m. to 9:15 p.m.

•  Thursday March 16 from 10:30 a.m. to noon and from 9:45 p.m. until 11:15 p.m.

The military training exercises will include multiple traffic patterns and approaches.

The Air Force is apologizing for any inconvenience that the increased flight activity might cause to the community.
