Mohawk Valley Community College held a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday in the Plumley Complex Atrium to mark the completion of a $30 million renovation project that began in June 2015.

The renovations were done in collaboration with Oneida County and New York State.

They included expanding the Plumley Complex by 48,00 square feet, updating classroom space with modern equipment, merging the Library and Learning Center into a Learning Commons and adding a 120-person community event room.

Improvements were also made to the parking and quad areas and the building entrance.
