National Pancake Day Is Here

It's National Pancake Day at IHOP restaurants nationwide.

IHOPs all over the country are participating in National Pancake Day in an effort to raise money for The Children's Miracle Network by giving out free short stacks in exchange for a small donation.

Manager Tom Grefer said the IHOP on French Road in new Hartford has been participating in the event for about nine years and had already sold almost 1,000 pancakes by noon.

Grefer added that after school lets out they expect the line to be out the door.

IHOP will be serving up free pancakes until 10 p.m. tonight, and yes, they're going like hotcakes.
