The New Berlin man convicted of killing his wife in December of 2012 will not be getting a new trial.

The New York State Appellate Division has ruled Ganesh “Remy" Ramsaran will continue to serve 25 years to life in prison for the murder of Jennifer with none of the claims to reverse the conviction supporting a change.

Jennifer Ramsaran did not return from a Christmas shopping trip to Syracuse and her husband reported the 36 year old woman was missing.  Her body was found in the Town of Pharsalia three months later.

An autopsy revealed the woman had apparently bene hit in the head.

An appeal court initially agreed to a new trial saying the 42 year old man’s trial had been tainted by mis-characterized DNA evidence.
