NFL Season Kicks Off Tonight on WIBX 950

The 2018 NFL season gets underway tonight with the defending champion Philadelphia Eagles hosting the Atlanta Falcons. 

Westwood One's coverage beings on WIBX 950 at 7:30 tonight.

'Backup' quarterback and last season's Super Bowl MVP, Nick Foles, will be under center for the Eagles tonight. Carson Wentz is still recovering for his torn ACL and Alshon Jeffrey (shoulder) will both be unavailable to go in the opener.

The Falcons offense is still headed up with the lethal QB-WR combo of Matt Ryan and Julio Jones.

The two teams last met in January in the Divisional Round of the playoffs when Foles and the Eagles beat the Ryan and the Falcons to advance to the NFC Championship game.
