One Injured In Two Car Accident In Westmoreland

Town of Westmoreland, (WIBX) - One person was injured in a two car accident in the Town of Westmoreland. And, Oneida County Sheriff officials ticketed the injured driver for failure to yield the right of way. According to the report, the accident happened when Richard G. Dow Jr., from Holland Patent was travelling on Rt 26 approaching Townline Rd, and JoAnn L. Novak from Whitesboro, crossed Rt 26 in front of Dow. Officials say Novak was unable to avoid the collision with Dow.

Novak sustained injuries to her back and was taken to St. Lukes Hospital by Ambulance. The other driver was not injured.
