Oneida Man Sentenced In VVS Threat Case
An Oneida man who was arrested for threatening to bring a gun to Vernon-Verona-Sherrill High School has been sentenced to one year in the Oneida County Jail, with credit for time served.
20-year old Eric Mahler previously pleaded guilty to falsely reporting an incident.
Mahler had been charged with making a terroristic threat and aggravated harassment.
The threat led to a nearly three hour lockout in April.
