Utica Woman Charged With Breaking 8-Month-Old Baby’s Arm

A Utica woman was arrested Friday by the Oneida County Sheriff's Office for Assault.

Child Advocacy Center Chief Deputy O'Meara says, an 18-year-old mother allegedly forcibly grabbed her 8-month-old baby by the arm, causing the child to sustain a fracture.

The child was treated at St. Luke's Hospital for his injuries.

The female was arrested by Utica Police and an order of protection was requested on behalf of the victim.
