Palmieri Announces New Hotel For North Utica

Another hotel is coming to North Utica.

Mayor Robert Palmieri says Visions Hotels has submitted plans to build an 89 room hotel on North Genesee Street.

He says HOME 2 Suites by Hilton will offer guests an extended stay experience with amenities and spacious comfortable suites with fully equipped kitchenettes and an indoor pool.

Palmieri says as development continues at Harbor Point, the city welcome another Visions Hotel property.

Visions Hotel spokesman Andy Patel said, “Mayor Palmieri and his staff have made the choice to develop in Utica an easy one. We look forward to continued growth in the City.”

If approved, it will be the fourth hotel to be built by Visions Hotel in the city.
