Utica, NY (WIBX) - He was acquitted of similar charges last year, but Steven Patterson was found guity today of operating an illegal cabaret in Utica.

Patterson, a former city DPW commissioner, was also found guilty of several noise violations in connection with his club, Pistol Pete's in East Utica.

He faced trial last year for allegedly allowering underage drinking at the club, but was found not guilty.

Patterson's bench trial this week was in Utica City Court before Judge Gerald Popeo.
