Pit Bull’s Owner Ticketed

Utica, NY (WIBX) - Three tickets have been filed against the owner of the Pit Bull that was left outside overnight earlier this week in below zero temperatures.

Utica police, however, say due to public's interest in the case and concern of all parties involved, they are not releasing the owner's name. That person was issued summons for having a dog running a large, and owning an unlicensed dog and an unvaccinated dog, police said.

Police say the Pit Bull, Apollo, will remain in the custody of the Stevens Swan Humane Society.
