Port Leyden Man Killed In Dump Truck Rollover Accident

State Police are still investigating a crash that took the life of a Port Leyden man.

Officials say, Troopers responded to Gyore Road in the Town of Watson Saturday for a reported dump truck rollover accident.

A preliminary investigation revealed 49-year-old Johney Rogers Jr. was operating the dump truck westbound when he exited the roadway and landed on the passenger side.

Rogers Jr. was pronounced dead at the scene and State Police are still trying to put all pieces of the puzzle together.
