The New York Rangers will look to even their best-of-seven series with the Washington Capitals on Wednesday night (7:30) in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals.

Braden Holtby registered his second career playoff shutout on Monday night, stopping all 30 of New York's shots on goal as the Caps took a 2-1 series advantage. Rangers netminder Henrik Lundqvist made 21 saves, but was beat by a puck that came from behind the goal and deflected off a Rangers defenseman. The setup to that goal was very similar to the loose puck that beat Lundqvist in the closing seconds of Game 1.

The Blue Shirts have wisely focused their attention on stopping a rejuvenated Alex Ovechkin as they try to stifle D.C.'s prolific scorer, but two pucks that came from behind the net have led to the Caps' two wins.

New York's Chris Kreider, Rick Nash, Marty St. Louis and Kevin Hayes have combined for just one goal and two assists so far in the series.
