More than one thousand runners are on the waiting list to get a placement slot in the 2015 Boilermaker.  However, Boilermaker President Tim Reed says there are still about fifty charity bibs that have not yet been assigned.

The average amount to be raised through the program is $500 per bib.  This year participants will have until August 1, 2015 to raise their charity bib money.

Hey, you're no Ickey Woods...You're going to be waiting for the cold cuts a long time.

When asked why there are still charity bibs available Reed says he does not know.  "We actually sent an e-mail blast...I said, 'Hey, you're no Ickey Woods...You're going to be waiting for the cold cuts a long time.'"

If you are not familiar with the Ickey Woods video:

Reed is confident that people can raise the money required for the bibs if indeed they truly want to run the Boilermaker.
