Remington Educational Complex In Ilion Evacuated [UPDATE]

The Remington Educational Complex in Ilion was evacuated this morning due to an unspecified threat.

The complex houses both school-aged and adult educational programs through the Herkimer-Fulton-Hamilton-Otsego BOCES.

Law enforcement officials are currently on the scene.

UPDATE 2:24 pm.- Ilion Police Chief Timothy Parisi tells WIBX News they were contacted by Herkimer BOCES officials this morning about the threat and decided to evacuate the building.

He says Ilion Police and other law enforcement agencies went through the building but nothing was found.

Parisi says their investigation is continuing and they'll release more information after the investigation is completed.
