Rochester Man Arrested on Sex Trafficking Charges

A Rochester man is being charged with sex trafficking following an investigation by multiple police agencies.

51-Year old Vandon Jones, of Peckham Street in Rochester, was formally charged with "attempted sex trafficking," a class "C" felony for an alleged incident said to have occurred on May 15, 2014.

The New York State Police, along with their Special Investigations Unit in Rochester and Community Narcotic Enforcement Team, and the Jefferson County Drug Task Force arrested Jones on Wednesday, October 15, 2014.

The investigation is ongoing and State Police say there is no other information at this time.  Jones was arraigned in the Town of Watertown Court and sent to the Jefferson County Public Safety Building without bail.
