Rome Man Charged After Allegedly Throwing Beer Bottle At Girlfriend

A Rome man has been arrested following a alleged domestic dispute at a residence on Oswego Road in the Town of Vienna.

According to Oneida County Sheriff Rob Maciol, deputies responded to the scene at around 1:30 a.m. Sunday.

Upon arrival they found 27-year-old Tyler Edick was fighting with his girlfriend and had allegedly struck her with a beer bottle.

The female was uninjured, but deputies discovered Edick was out on bail, and that he was violating an order of protection.

Edick became combative with deputies and began fighting with them. As a result, Edick was arrested and is facing a number of charges. He was remanded to Oneida County Jail and will appear in Vienna Court at a later date.
