Rome Woman Facing Charges After Domestic Dispute
Rome, NY (WIBX) - The Oneida County Sheriff's Office says a Rome woman is facing eight charges following a domestic dispute.
24-year old Jennie Burnett allegedly choked her boyfriend during the dispute at the Green Lantern Motel on Turin Road and threatened to kill him with a pair of scissors and a kitchen knife.
Deputies say they also found six small marijuana plants growing inside a room at the motel.
Burnett was arrested on charges including menacing, harassment, unlawful imprisonment, criminal possession of a weapon and criminal obstruction of breathing.
