Salka To Run For 121st District State Assembly Seat

Brookfield Town Supervisor John Salka has announced his candidacy for the 121st District State Assembly seat.

He'll be seeking the Republican Party's endorsement in his second bid for the seat. Salka lost in a close race two years ago.

Salka said “We were narrowly defeated two years ago and are now receiving a groundswell of support and encouragement to finish the job.  We are working to replace our local representative and bring change to Albany that reflects the needs of the district.”

The seat is currently held by Democrat William Magee.
