Sentencing Delayed for Clayton Whittemore
A judge is delaying sentencing of the man who killed his girlfriend in her college dorm room.
On May 30, 2014 Clayton Whittemore was found guilty of second-degree murder in the 2012 beating death of Alexandra Kogut. He was scheduled to be sentenced today, but his attorney asked for a postponement.
Sentencing is now scheduled for Tuesday, August 5th.
Whittemore faces twenty-five years to life in prison.
