Syracuse Man Sentenced For Sexual Assault
A Syracuse man will spend 20 years in prison for the sexual assault and attempted kidnapping of a child in Utica in March of this year.
38-year old Raoul Baldwin was sentenced by Oneida County Court Judge Michael Dwyer.
Baldwin pleaded guilty in August to criminal sexual act.
The Oneida County Child Advocacy Center says Baldwin was sentenced as a second violent felony offender and will also have to serve twenty years of post-release supervision.
New York State Parole, the US Marshalls NY/NJ Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Oneida County District Attorney’s Office assisted the CAC with the investigation.
