Mother Nature may have flooded parts of Upstate, New York but the communities are slowly returning to normal. There is one road connecting two towns that will stay closed for some time.

The massive flooding in Upstate New York washed away roads, bridges, dams and even a boat and Jet Skis still attached to the dock.

Utica Police are working to connect the dots after Utica woman says she was threatened with a gun, then had her home flooded out. Investigators believe the latter may stem from a domestic incident with the woman's ex-boyfriend.

The task force looking to tame water issues facing residents, including frequently flooded areas in North and South Utica, will be meeting to set goals and priorities for city's mitigation efforts.

The City of Utica and Town of Deerfield have reached a shared services agreement to combat flooding.

Residents are cautioned that flooding is possible throughout Central New York and northeast Pennsylvania from April 7, 2022 through April 8, 2022.
