A man is in serious condition at Wynn Hospital in Utica after being struck by a hit and run driver in the Town of New Hartford.

Police in Upstate New York now have the woman in custody who they say struck one of their police officers with the Dodge Caravan she was driving on Monday, then dragged him as she was fleeing a traffic stop.

A Whitesboro police officer has been released from Wynn Hospital following a scary incident Friday evening in the village.

Authorities are trying to track down a driver involved in a hit and run accident in the town of Herkimer and that resulted in several vehicles being damage at an auto repair shop parking lot.

Troopers say the woman already has a DWI conviction and was supposed to be driving with a interlock system.

A Kansas man is under arrest and facing several charges, including Attempted Murder in the 2nd degree following a hit and run accident in the Town of Hartwick.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office is looking for the public's help in identifying the driver of a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run accident.
