BALTIMORE (AP) — National Guard troops fanned out through Baltimore, shield-bearing police officers blocked the streets and firefighters doused still-simmering blazes early Tuesday as a growing area of the city shuddered from riots following the funeral of a black man who died in police custody.

Protesters have stopped traffic on New York City's Westside Highway Wednesday night as hundreds have taken to the streets to protest the Supreme Court decision not to indict NYPD Officer Daniel Pantaleo for the death of Eric Garner.
