Teen Charged With Sexual Misconduct

A 17-year old boy is facing charges of sexual misconduct and endangering the welfare of a child following an incident in Rome.

The Oneida County Child Advocacy Center says the teen allegedly engaged in sexual contact wth 13-year old girl last month.

Due to the boy's age, his name is not being released.

An order of protection was issued by the court on behalf of the victim, who has been offered services through the CAC.
