Town Of Laurens Man Charged With Killing His Parents

A Town of Laurens man is behind bars, accused of killing his mother and father.

The Otsego County Sheriff's Office has charged 23-year old Kevin Perry with first-degree murder and criminal use of a firearm in the deaths of his parents.

59-year old Timothy Perry and 52-year old Solveige Perry were found dead inside their home on New Road in Laurens on Tuesday night by family members.

An investigation has revealed that the victims died of injuries sustained from a firearm.

Perry was taken into custody following a high-speed chase that ended in a crash on Interstate 88 in neighboring Schoharie County.

The investigation is continuing.

Perry is being held in the Otsego County jail without bail.
