The Johnson City Department of Public Works is advising motorists they may run into some delays due to road work on Oakdale Road.

Utility works is being done from Harry L. Drive north to the Village/Town of Union line.

Motorists could encounter exposed utility structures like raised manholes in the street.

The work is to begin at 7 a.m. Monday, September 25 and reduce traffic to a single lane to allow for milling and paving.

Travelers are urged to use caution and seek alternate routes.

The work is expected to be complete by September 29.
