Two U.S. Army pilots are dead following what wsa supposed to be a routine training mission last night.The Apache AH-64D crashed at approximately 7:00pm local time approximately twelve miles from Fort Campbell, near the border between Tennessee and Kentucky.

In a post by Jordan Buie, Stephanie Ingersoll, and Ray HowzeThe Tennessean says "Montgomery County Emergency Management Agency Director Jerry Buchanan said the helicopter was found crashed in a river bottom near Gholson Road and was on fire when first responders arrived."

According to the Associated Press, "The Army news release says the cause of the crash hasn't been determined and is being investigated. The names of the pilots haven't been released, pending notification of next of kin."
