United Way Back To School Supply Drive

The United Way of the Valley and Greater Utica Area's 6th annual Back to School Supply Drive was another big success.

Local schools and agencies received their supplies today during a distribution event at the United Way office.

The following schools received supplies and each school will distribute the items internally:

• Central Valley Academy
• Dolgeville Central School
• Richfield Springs Central Schools
• Martin Luther King Elementary, Utica
• Christopher Columbus Elementary, Utica
• Remsen School District
• Waterville Elementary School

If your child's school is not included in the list above, you can contact the following community agencies which also received supplies:

• Underground Cafe, Utica
• Thea Bowman House, Utica
• YMCA, Mohawk

More than 22,000 items were collected this year, along with over $24,000 in monetary donations.
