A new Zogby Analytics study finds Utica is a welcoming community when it comes to immigrants and refugees.

According to the study, 69% of Utica-area residents said immigration was good for the area.

Uticans are also proud of their city's tradition of welcoming immigrants.

The study was commissioned by the Mohawk Valley Resource Center for Refugees and will be used to help other communities follow Utica's lead.
