The Utica College Men's Hockey team went back and forth with Manhattanville in Stamford, Connecticut on Saturday afternoon.  The Pioneers, with under four minutes to play took their only lead of the game when senior Evan Chlanda scored past Valiant goalie Alex Scola, to put Utica up 4to-3.  That lead wouldn't last for long when with under a minute to play in regulation, Manhattanville added the extra player by pulling Scola, and successfully scored with just 28 seconds remaining.  The 4-4 game would go to overtime and neither team would score during the extra 5 minutes.

The tie clinched an ECAC Title for Utica for the first time since 2005.  Utica will get a bye in the first round of the conference playoffs and will play in the semi-finals next Saturday, (Feb 23) at 7 p.m. at the Utica Memorial Auditorium.
