Utica Man Arrested for Allegedly Raping Two Girls in 2007

A Utica man has been arrested for the alleged rape of two children in 2007.

According to Oneida County Undersheriff Joseph Lisi, Rome Police and The Oneida County Child Advocacy Center have charged 30-year-old Desmond Anthony Jackson of Utica with Felony Rape in the First Degree.

Police believe the abuse went on for several years, ending in 2007. His victims were two female children under the age of 11.

At the time of the alleged crimes, Jackson was 19-years-old. He's being held in Oneida County Jail and additonal charges are pending.
