Utica Man Sentenced In Stabbing Death

A Utica man who admitted to stabbing another man to death earlier this year was sentenced on Wednesday in Oneida County Court.

35-year old Edmond Hyatt had previously entered a plea of guilty to second-degree murder.

Hyatt was sentenced to 22 years to life in state prison.  He also waived his right to appeal.

40-year old Nicholas White was fatally stabbed in a John Street apartment on March 16th.
