Local officials, including Utica Mayor Robert Palmieri, have released the final draft of Utica's two-year action plan developed as part of the recent Community Needs Assessment initiative.

Utica was one of only three municipalities in the state to be selected by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to conduct a CNA.

The Community Needs Assessment helped identify six goals:

1) Facilitate Employment

2) Increase Economic Activity

3) Improve Educational Opportunities

4) Enhance Public Safety

5) Improve Health and Wellness

6) Provide Enhanced Housing Opportunities

The CNA survey summary and the plan document can be viewed on the City of Utica's website.
