Utica Fire Academy Recruits Take Part In Live Burn Training [VIDEO]
The members of Utica Fire Academy Class 27 began two days of Live Burn Training on Friday at the Fire Training Grounds on Leland Avenue.
Deputy Chief Michael Wusick says the live burn training will be the conclusion of an extensive 13-week training program.
Wusick says the recruits' skills will be put to the test in numerous evolutions throughout the two day event.
The 13 recruits come from seven fire districts across the state, including Utica, Cohoes and Oswego.
