Vet2Vet Want Participants For Kickball Tournament

Barneveld, NY (WIBX) - A kickball tournament, organized by Compeer of the Mohawk Valley's Vet2Vet Program is taking place on Saturday August 13th. The cost to enter a team is $100, and winning teams can win cash prizes from $300 to $100.

The tournament kicks-off at 9:00 a.m. at Taft Community Field located on Trenton Road in Barneveld. The field is adjacent to the South Trenton Pub at 7336 Trenton Road. Officials say all proceeds will benefit Vet2Vet--A program that matches Veterans with community volunteers, and other Vets, for support and help re-adjusting from long deployments and or future deployments.
