Warren County Public Works Official Pleads Guilty To DWI

GLENS FALLS, N.Y. (AP) — Warren County is trying to work out a separation agreement for its public works superintendent who pleaded guilty to a driving while intoxicated charge.

The Post-Star says Jeffrey E. Tennyson pleaded guilty to the misdemeanor after he was arrested Jan. 28 in Glens Falls.

Assistant Superintendent Kevin Hajos is overseeing the Department of Public Works in Tennyson's absence.

Tennyson was sentenced to a one-year conditional discharge, which requires him to remain arrest-free and complete certain requirements.

The case was prosecuted by the Saratoga County district attorney's office. The Warren County DA's office stepped away from the case because of its work relationship with Tennyson.
