WIBX Gets Honorable Mention In Media Beef Battle At NYS Fair

Syracuse, NY (WIBX) - WIBX took part in the media beef battle at the New York State Fair this morning and walked away with an Honorable Mention. The annual event, sponsored by the New York Beef Industry Council, is a contest between local media outlets for a chance to be crowned "Winner" of the best beef dish.

This year, YNN, based in Syracuse, walked away with the top prize for their slider burgers. In 2010, WIBX won the "Healthy Sizzle" award for preparing the healthiest dish at the competition.
