Woman Found Dead Inside Cazenovia Home [UPDATE]

State Police are investigating a domestic related incident in Madison County that left a woman dead.

Police say the woman was found inside a home on East Lake Road in the Town of Cazenovia.

A man is being questioned by investigators.

UPDATED 9:15- A man is facing a second-degree murder charge for allegedly killing a woman during a domestic dispute on East Lake Road in Cazenovia.

State Police have also charged 31-year old Stephen Schumejda with assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

Police say 44-year old Amy Bradstreet was found dead inside her home Monday afternoon.

Schumejda lived with the victim.

UPDATE 9/3/14 5:00 p.m.: The Onondaga County Medical Examiner's office has ruled Bradstreet's cause of death to be from multiple stab wounds.

The investigation into the incident is continuing.
