Ben Stiller Looking for Utica Actors for Upcoming Mini-Series

Ben Stiller and Showtime will be producing a mini-series inspired by the real-life events of the prison escape of David Sweat and Richard Matt escaping from Clinton Correctional Facility. The escape had everyone in Dannemora on edge as well as the rest of the country. Now you may be one to help tell the story.

According to Paul Buckley from the City of Utica the Showtime series scouts are looking for people from the Mohawk Valley to be background performers for some of the scenes. The escape series itself will be shot in Dannemora.

Buckley provided WIBX with a flyer from a casting agency in New York City. The flyer states anyone is invited to submit their name in an email to nyccasting2012@gmail.com, but they are especially looking for Latino, Hispanic, and African American men.
