The drive to collect bottled water for the residents of Flint, Michigan is in full swing.

WIBX's First News with Keeler in the Morning and the Utica Boilermaker are working with community members in Utica, Michigan to get desperately needed water to Flint.

Bill Keeler says so far, the response has been great.  He says about 100 cases of water were collected at the Utica Comets game over the weekend.

You can drop off bottled water at Chanatry's all week along.

Other drop off locations are Charlie's Pizza in Whitesboro, Washington Mills and North Utica and The Loaves and Fishes Soup Kitchen on North Washington Street in Rome.

Anyone interested in helping with the drive can call Townsquare Media at 768-9500 or the Keeler Show weekday mornings from 6 am to 9 am at 736-0186.

UPDATE 2:47 pm. - Chanatry's has run out of bottled water.  You can still buy the water at the store and Chanatry's will add it to the effort when a new shipment comes in.
