Another candidate is entering the race for the 101st District Assembly seat held by Claudia Tenney.

Republican Oneida County Legislator Brian Miller has announced his candidacy for the seat.

Miller represents the Towns of New Hartford, Paris and Bridgewater.  He's been on the Board of Legislators since 2000.

As County Legislator and as a parent, I have witnessed first-hand the struggles our communities face as a result of Albany’s dysfunction. The people of New York State are subjected to high taxes, unnecessary regulations, the SAFE-ACT, and other mandates that we cannot afford.  When elected, I pledge to fight for the residents of the 101st District,” said Miller.

Little Falls attorney Arlene Feldmeier and Maria Kelso, Chair of the Delaware County Republican Committee, are also running for the 101st Assembly seat.

Tenney is seeking the Congressional seat being vacated by Richard Hanna.
