Over 300 coats and hundreds of other winter accessories will go to needy Mohawk Valley residents this year.

Assemblyman Anthony Brindisi presented the items from his third annual "Warm for Winter" clothing drive to the Rescue Mission of Utica and the Rome Rescue Mission today.

Employees of Gilroy, Kernan and Gilroy donated to the "Warm for Winter" campaign through the company's Fun and Fitness Committee, which organizes regular charitable giving opportunities for its employees.

Chanatry's in South Utica and the Jervis Public Library in Rome served as collection points for the drive.

Even thought the clothing drive is over, you can still drop off coats and other winter items at either Rescue Mission.
