Children Evacuated from Binghamton Apartment Fire

Binghamton fire officials are investigating the cause of a blaze at Cedar Street September 23.

Fire Chief Steve Faughnan says crews and Binghamton Police were called to the scene at around 4:30 p.m. and evacuated four children.

The fire, that apparently started in a second floor bedroom, was out in about a half hour.

There were no injuries.
